While I decided to leave restaurant’s off my Charleston Bucket List (since it would legit be 300 posts long), Bowen’s Island is more of a destination deserving of its own spot.
Everyone that lives in Charleston needs to experience Bowen’s Island at least once. It doesn’t get more Lowcountry than digging into raw oysters and fried fish while sipping beer outside overlooking the water. My favorite time to make a trip is for a late dinner, as nothing quite beats a Bowen’s Island sunset.
