Ingredients
  1. 2 sticks butter
  2. 4 oz dark chocolate, I used Ghirardelli
  3. 2 cups sugar
  4. 4 eggs
  5. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  6. 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  7. 1 1/3 cups flour
  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  9. 2-8oz packages cream cheese, room temperature
  10. 2/3 cup sugar
  11. 2 large eggs
  12. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9X13 baking pan with pam. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a microwave safe bowl, heating in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Set aside to cool. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and food coloring. Add in the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Add in the flour and salt and stir until combined. Pour into the pan. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla extract. Drop dollops onto brownie batter. Using a butter knife, swirl the two batters together. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. (The edges should be lightly browned). Cool completely in the fridge before slicing into bars. Store in fridge.
