Ingredients
  1. 1 stick butter
  2. 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  3. 1 cup brown sugar
  4. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  5. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. 12 cups air-popped popcorn
  8. 1 package of mini crunch bars, or other candy bar of your choosing
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil, spraying with pam. Roughly chop the crunch bars until you have around 2 cups. In a very large pot, melt the butter over medium-heat. Add the sugar and corn syrup, whisking until dissolved. Let simmer without mixing until the mixture begins to bubble, 5 mies. Cook over medium-high heat for another 10 minutes or until amber in color, stirring to make sure it doesn't burn. Turn off the heat and whisk in the vanilla, baking soda and salt. Fold in the popcorn, tossing until fully coated. Fold in 1 cup of the crunch bars, tossing to coat. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Remove from oven and once cooled, break into pieces. Top with remaining 1 cup crunch bars and serve.
