Ingredients
  1. 2 1/4 cups flour
  2. 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  3. 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  4. 2 teaspoons sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. 6 tablespoons butter, cold & cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  7. 1 1/2 cups blue cheese, crumbles
  8. 4 scallions, chopped
  9. 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Using a fork or even better your hands, add in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add in the blue cheese, scallions, and buttermilk until combined. On a large baking sheet sprayed with pam, drop large mounds of batter, about 1/2 cup each, 2 inches apart. Slightly flatten with your fingertips, and bake until golden, 15-18 minutes.
