Ingredients
  1. 1 garlic clove, halved
  2. 1 cup white wine
  3. 2 tablespoons corn starch
  4. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  5. 1 pound swiss cheese, shredded
  6. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  7. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Rub the inside of a medium size pan with garlic clove. Add wine and lemon juice to pan and bring to simmer over medium heat. Place cheese and cornstarch inside a ziplock bag and shake to coat. Gradually add the cheese to the pan, stirring in an X pattern until melted. Add cayenne and nutmeg and transfer to fondue pot set to low. Serve with cubed french bread and other dippers.
Recommended Dippers
  1. Cubed bread (day old works best)
  2. Apples
  3. Broccoli
  4. Califlower
  5. Cherry tomatoes
  6. Brussels sprouts, cooked
  7. Baby potatoes, cooked slightly
  8. Mini meatballs
  9. Grilled polenta squares
  10. Prosciutto or other cured meat
  11. French Fries (amazing!)
